David Sheerin Architecture (DSA) is a research-based, interdisciplinary architectural practice in Portland, Oregon. DSA provides design services for an array of project types including residential, commercial, adaptive re-use, academic and civic structures.

At DSA, we seek to create meaningful spaces and places through rigorous research and design that connects individuals with the social, political, economic and environmental contexts in which they live.

David is a registered architect who has over twenty years of professional experience spanning multiple project types, scale and geography. He holds a Master of Architecture (MArch) from the University of Michigan and a Master of Environmental Design (MED) from Yale University.

David has taught architectural design at the University of Oregon’s School of Architecture and the Environment. He has also taught at Yale University, the University of Michigan, the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and Parsons School of Design.
